MEA Annual Cultural Night – Euphoria 2025
  1. MEA membership requirement for event participation: For group events, majority of the participants (70%) need to be current MEA member or family of MEA members. No Solo events. Current MEA members are listed at https://meahouston.org/about-us/membership-list/. Renew your membership at https://meahouston.org/join/
  2. No of events: A participant shall not be part of more than two events (two group events).
  3. In the case of songs and dances, please provide the name of the song to avoid the same item being presented by more than one person as much as possible.
  4. The time allotted for every program will be a maximum of 5 minutes to maintain our schedule. Skit presentations will be allotted a maximum of 10 minutes.
  5. Due to a time limit, only 25 performances can be conducted, and their prioritization is determined by the order in which they are received. Therefore, you are urged to submit your entries as soon as possible.
  6. All participants shall arrive an hour early to know the order of the events. If a group misses their given time slot, they will have to wait until the end, to ensure smooth flow of the overall program.
  7. All participants must provide their music track (karaoke) and dance music either in MP3 or WMA format. Playlists will be prepared with all the tracks for use by the sound system operator at the auditorium to minimize interruptions during the program.
  8. Participating in the event does not give you and your team an automatic entry to the event. Event tickets need to be purchased separately.
  9. MEA Committee reserves the right to select the programs to ensure variety. By registering for this event, you are accepting the above rules and guidelines.
