Math Olympiad, Essay writing and Painting competitions will be held. 

Math Olympiad will be held at 1pm at the following venue on:-

There will be no entry fee for MEA member families and non-members will still be charged $15 per entry.  

Parents please allow your children to find a sense of accomplishment so we request that all work be the children's without parental help.

Painting Topics

1 and 2 Grade:

Topic :    “My Favorite Animal/Bird/Insect/Flower”

3, 4, and 5 Grade:

Topic :   “My Favorite Festival/Season/Holiday”

6, 7, 8 Grades:

Topic : “Life Under the Sea”

Rules:

1. Paintings must be done on legal, letter, A4 OR A3 papers & the max. paper size should not exceed 18x24.
2. Full name, age (day, month, and year), gender and full address including phone and e-mail (in English) must be on the back of the painting.
3. Style of painting is free: crayons, colored pencils, watercolours, etc.
4. Do not include any words or descriptions in the paintings.
5. Only hard copies of paintings will be accepted. Paintings can be scanned and emailed to us at meahouston@eagle.org but a harcopy of the painting need to be mailed for final consideration.
6. You can submit more than one entry.

Essay Topics

6, 7, 8 Grades:

Topic :   Write a 2 page essay on "What do you consider your most valuable Asset or Talent?, Why"

Grades 4 & 5:

Write a 1 and a 1/2 page essay on your favorite festival or holiday. Why is it your favorite?

Grades 2 & 3:

Write a 1 page essay on your favorite animal/pet. What do you like about it? Why is it your favorite?

Note: All essay writing entries should be in English.
